Confirm your attendance to sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú through the . Log in to this page using your sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú ID number or Social Security Number, and your date of birth. Beneath your admissions decision, select “Confirmation of Acceptance”. Complete the form as appropriate.

You will not have to pay a “confirmation” fee. You will only need to submit the form via your check application status page.

You will use the same username and password to log in to a number of important university systems.  to find your username and enroll in the password management system.

Note: When setting up your Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), before setting up biometric approvals (face/fingerprint), please define your phone for calls and texts to prevent issues when authenticating to additional devices. 

Once you have activated your sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú account, for your security, all sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú contact and correspondence will be sent to your sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú email account. Please also use your sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú email account when contacting sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú faculty and staff. It is important to be checking this email consistently on a weekly or daily basis.

Note: After a student is admitted, it may take up to 48 hours before the student's information is available to activate. If you are not able to activate your sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú account after 48 hours, contact the IT Service Desk at 706-864-1922 for assistance with activation.

Transient students begin the process at their home institution’s Registrar office by requesting Transient Permission. This is followed by contacting their home institutions Financial Aid Office. They will advise you on how to receive federal and state aid funds. They may ask you to complete an aid request form or a Consortium Agreement. HOPE and Zell Miller Scholarship will pay here at sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú, where you are taking transient coursework. Federal Aid (Pell Grant and Federal Student Loans) will be paid from your home institution.

It is not uncommon that you may have to prepay your balance at sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú and then be reimbursed after the start of the semester when your financial aid will be released to you. If you are not able to prepay, contact the sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú Financial Aid Office and we will see what we can do to hold your schedule while your financial aid is being processed.

Transient students admitted to sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú for the Spring 2026 semester are required to complete a self-paced online orientation course. Once this self-paced course is complete, your orientation hold will be lifted.

You will not be charged an orientation fee.

How to Complete Orientation

1. Login to the with your sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú credentials.
2. Select the Events Tab at the top left of the page.
3. Complete the self-paced, online orientation as a part of your orientation requirement. Once you complete the orientation modules your “OP” hold will be removed.

Note: You must submit your confirmation of acceptance before accessing the orientation reservation system.

Complete the  whether or not you plan to take an online course at this time. The quiz takes less than 10 minutes to complete.

eCore courses are designed, developed, taught and supported by faculty and staff from the University System of Georgia (USG) and are a great option for completing core curriculum requirements.

Please note: The (start/stop dates) is different from the normal sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú academic calendar.

Registration time-tickets are assigned automatically to transient student accounts approximately a week prior to registration.  See the Registration Dates & Times page for more information on registering for “Non-Degree, Non-Certificate, and Transient Students”.

Students are advised to check course prerequisites and descriptions carefully in the (Undergraduate Catalog > Courses) before attempting to register.

After your registration window opens and you have checked for prerequisites in the Academic Catalog, contact the Department for departmental approval and an override into the course if you receive prerequisite or course errors when self-registering.

Note: Registration for a specific course or section cannot be guaranteed and is subject to course availability and departmental approval. Also, Departments will never override a student into a course if there is an active waitlist.

Students have until the end of add/drop to make schedule adjustments, pending course availability.
