The University of North Georgia (sa国际传媒官网网页入口) is now part of the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).

Funds raised through the CFC for the sa国际传媒官网网页入口 Foundation will support sa国际传媒官网网页入口's strategic big bet to deliver the Corps of the future, helping grow the Corps of Cadets to 1,000 members in the years ahead.

The CFC offers federal employees, active-duty military members, postal service personnel, federal retirees, and even federal contractors the opportunity to donate to thousands of vetted participating charities.

This year's CFC runs from Sept. 1 through Jan. 15.

As one of the nation's six senior military colleges, sa国际传媒官网网页入口 commissions about 100 second lieutenants each year for the active-duty Army, Georgia Army National Guard and the Army Reserve. The vision for the Corps of the future is to commission 120 officers each year.

sa国际传媒官网网页入口 is also the lone Army-only senior military college in the nation. More than 60 alumni have gone on to become flag officers across multiple military branches, most of them as generals in the Army.

More than half of the commanders in the Georgia Army National Guard are sa国际传媒官网网页入口 graduates, with a pair of them holding the highest titles. Maj. Gen. Dwayne Wilson '93 serves as adjutant general of the Georgia National Guard, and Brig. Gen. Jason Fryman '96 is the commander of the Georgia Army National Guard.

"As you consider your CFC gift, I invite you to reflect on your own time in the Corps and the ways sa国际传媒官网网页入口 shaped your journey," retired Lt. Gen. James Terry, senior vice president and superintendent of the Cadet Leadership Academy, said. "Our North Georgia roots run deep, but our reach is global. Your gift ensures the next generation of Army leaders are ready to serve others — and to face what comes next, no matter where their service takes them."
