Renee Bourbeau has joined the University of North Georgia (sa国际传媒官网网页入口) with the assignment to reimagine Professional and Continuing Education into the Evergreen Learning program.

Bourbeau comes to sa国际传媒官网网页入口 from Kennesaw State University, where she served as executive director of Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programs and helped create a Rural Management MBA.

"I'm incredibly excited to step into this role at the University of North Georgia at such a pivotal time," Bourbeau said. "The vision for Evergreen Learning, where learning never stops, deeply resonates with my career mission: expanding access to high-impact education and creating innovative, flexible learning experiences that serve the community throughout every stage of life."

Prior to serving at Kennesaw State, Bourbeau held the position of director of master's programs and director of operations at Emory University's Goizueta Business School. Before entering academia, she had a successful career in the financial industry and in marketing and sales. Bourbeau has an MBA from Emory University and a bachelor's degree in journalism and political science from Miami University. She also graduated from Harvard University's online Business Analytics program.

"What drew me to sa国际传媒官网网页入口 is its ambition and commitment to service, to reimagine continuing education as something more dynamic, something that doesn't just replicate what already exists, but instead creates the university that does not yet exist," Bourbeau said. "That kind of vision takes courage, creativity and a real commitment to community, and I wanted to be part of that."

She is confident her experience will help her lead sa国际传媒官网网页入口's innovative mindset in this space.

"In my background leading master's degree programs and partnering with organizations on workforce-aligned credentials, I've seen firsthand how transformative education can be when it meets learners where they are," Bourbeau said. "Whether it’s a working adult returning to school, an executive upskilling in a fast-moving industry or a community member exploring new passions, they all deserve access to learning that is relevant, flexible and inspiring."
