University of North Georgia (sa国际传媒官网网页入口) students, faculty, staff, alumni, family, and friends will have a chance to enjoy an Atlanta Braves game together for the fourth year in a row. The sa国际传媒官网网页入口 Alumni Association is sponsoring its fourth annual for Atlanta's Sept. 7 game against the Toronto Blue Jays, which is set for 7:20 p.m.
More than 2,000 tickets are available for those connected with sa国际传媒官网网页入口 to attend the game at Truist Park in Atlanta. The seating is in sections 410-417.
Individual tickets of up to nine guests are $25 each and can be purchased on the . For groups of 10 or more, tickets are $23 each and can be purchased by calling 706-864-1547 or by stopping by the Alumni Relations office at 70 Alumni Drive at sa国际传媒官网网页入口's Dahlonega Campus. All proceeds will benefit the sa国际传媒官网网页入口 Alumni Association.
The Alumni Association encourages everyone to wear their sa国际传媒官网网页入口 blue and gold to the Braves game.
The event was initiated by sa国际传媒官网网页入口 Alumni Association board members Nick Miller and James Wright just before the COVID-19 pandemic. Having to pivot for safety, the event was first held in 2021 on Sept. 11 when the Braves faced the Miami Marlins. sa国际传媒官网网页入口 Night at the Braves featured games against the Philadelphia Phillies in 2022 and the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2023.

Alumnus receives national trooper honor
Trooper First Class II Julian Mapes of the Georgia State Patrol has been named the International Association of Chiefs of Police/Motorola Solutions national Trooper of the Year. Mapes is a 2018 sa国际传媒官网网页入口 graduate.
