Shannon has spent more than sixteen years as an administrative professional at the University of North Georgia (sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú). She has worked in various settings at sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú including the Registrar’s Office, School of Arts & Letters, Honors Program, Graduate Studies, Academic Affairs, and Regional Campus Administration. She currently serves as the Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Regional Campuses.

Shannon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in social science from sa¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½¹ÙÍøÍøÒ³Èë¿Ú in 1999.
